TARA POLANSKY

Tara Polansky brings fifteen years of experience in community organizing and teaching to her new role at OOC.
Starting her career with ACORN, Tara has led organizing, digital and education efforts and contributed to social change movements. Tara has campaigned for immigrant rights, education, and social, economic and racial justice. After years of working with national organizations, Tara joined OOC to focus her contributions on her adopted home of Ohio.
Tara holds a BA in Sociology and Art from Hunter College and an MFA The Ohio State University. She lives in Columbus with her partner, their daughter, and their dog, Mushroom, who is famous for his underbite.
