RACHAEL COLLYER
Program Director, Ohio Student Association
Rachael has been organizing with OSA since she got involved in her first issue campaign in 2012 as a student at the Ohio State University. Since graduating and moving home to the Cleveland area in 2015, she has worked on ballot initiative and issue campaigns, organized grassroots voter guides, built organizations and coalitions, and trained hundreds of young organizers.
Rachael has been on staff with OSA since 2017, and in her current role as Program Director, she is responsible for guiding OSA's long-term vision and power-building mission, as well as supporting the growth of OSA chapters and the development of OSA staff and member-leaders as organizers. She is a true believer in the transformative power of organizing - on a personal level as well as the mechanism through which we can build the collective power to transform the world as it is into the world that we dream of and deserve.
In her free time, Rachael likes reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, listening to live music, and hiking with her partner and her dog.
